Network Meetings

The Network comprises 11 u3as across the whole of North Wales, ranging from large to small, rural to urban. It meets 3 times a year, usually February, June and October. Attendees are normally chairs, often with another committee member from that u3a.

The 2026 meeting dates are 9th February, 15th June and 12th October (including AGM).

Peer Group Meetings

In 2025, the Network ran a series of additional events designed for specific committee roles. These covered Group Coordinators, Programme Secretaries, Treasurers and a session for those who look after tech issues - website and data management. These have enabled people in these roles to meet the counterparts in other u3as and compare experiences, share problems and discuss possible solutions.

These meetings continued in 2026 with Membership Secretaries and a second session for Group Coordinators. A meeting for Secretaries and a repeat session for Treasurers are planned for September 7th.

Denbigh & Flint Show

The Network is holding a stall at the Denbigh & Flint Show on Thursday, 20th August, 2026. The aim will be to publicise all our member u3as as visitors are expected from all parts of Wales.
